Master templates are almost ready

Master templates are almost ready.
I have been working with my Jazzmaster plans and master templates, and they are now almost ready. I has been interesting when we have to build everything from scratch. Studying the dimensions and structure of a guitar and copying them has been surprisingly laborious, but instructive. All outer dimensions and shapes will be same, but there are some things that I will do in my way, not Fender way.
For example, Jazzmasters bridge is not very good. Leo Fender himself has admitted it is bad engineering. I will use Mastery or Staytrem bridge, althought they are more expencive than Fenders. I don't want even to think about those Chinese crap bridges from Ebay, which are very cheap, but useless. If I make guitar, I want it to be so good that I can do.
I open my friends Fender Jazzmaster Professional that I borrowed, and I wonder why so expensive guitar has been made so badly. This is not the first time I realize that a well-known brand is not a guarantee of good quality. Well, it is not bad, I have seen worse, but it could be better. Much better. Especially soldering and electrical work do not look very good.
I try to make it better. We will see how successful I am at that. I know I will make mistakes, but I can do it again. I have time till x-mas. I think it is enought. I have no financial pressure to make the instrument as fast and cost-effective as possible, but I can do it as well I can. And without cnc-tools. If I do not succeed, I will paint it in matte black and it will stay in my basement forever. I have heard that is typical way in our school. ;)
