IKATA, Ikaalisten käsi- ja taideteollisuusoppilaitos (Ikaalinen College of Crafts And Design) is only school in Finland where you can study luthier skills and graduate Artisan of Guitar Making, which is official title of graduated student.
Almost all wellknown Finnish luthiers have graduated, teached or both here.
School is in close cooperation with The Guilt of Finnish Luthiers.
It is located in Ikaalinen, which is about 50 kilometres from Tampere.
