Summer has been good for me. I have been sailing, lying on the beach, swimming in the lakes, hiking in woods, drinking beer, playing in festivals, doing nothing and much more. But I haven't been in my workshop. Why, you may ask. Well, I have been busy. That is what I try to say myself. No. I haven't been so busy. Real reason is that my workshop needs cleaning, and I hate cleaning. If there is any reason why NOT to do it, I will find it. And if I dont find it, I make it. That is real reason why I haven't been there. Cleaning my workshop is now on top of my todo-list. I will do that soon. If I don't find free french maid with short skirt and big boobs and spesialized in luthier workshops. That wont't be happened in real life ever. Maybe in my dreams.
My little basement workshop is located in Kyttälä, Tampere. It is only 30 meters from my home, so location couldn't be better. Kyttälä is located in centre of Tampere, between railway station and Tammerkoski-river. Most of bar life is focused in Kyttälä, and it has had bad reputation in history becouse of gamblers, drunks and criminals. Nowdays it is a nice, clean and lively center of entertaiment, good food and drink. Literally translated Kyttälä means Cop Village or something like that. If umlauts left out, it can be written KYTTAELAE. Sounds little kind of Hawaian and suits for ukuleles or what?
